Alton Towers Scarefest was recently voted the Best Halloween Event in the UK Theme Park Awards so we were excited to be visiting on opening day of the spooktacular 2020 season!

Following the latest government guidance and continuing uncertainty about future measures, Alton Towers have made the difficult decision not to go ahead with this year’s fireworks event.

This weekend Alton Towers invited us to experience their new Oktoberfest family fun festival, which includes live entertainment, food and drink with a German twist, as well as a chance to enjoy the park’s rides and attractions.

Alton Towers has announced details of their brand new Oktoberfest event and confirmed two new attractions for the annual Scarefest.

The Alton Towers Dungeon will be reopening on Saturday 18th July with some changes to the experience to keep guests safe.
