LEGOLAND News
Plans for LEGOLAND Windsor's new Haunted House attraction have been approved, following a successful appeal against their previously rejected application. It will be similar to Ghost - The Haunted House which was new for 2014 at LEGOLAND Billund, featuring a spooky walkthrough experience and two 10m drop towers.
The new attraction will be located in the area between the Heartlake Express railway track and the footpath from the Coastguard HQ to Atlantis - Submarine Voyage.
Christmas 2015 promises to be the most festive yet at LEGOLAND Windsor, jam packed with more rides and attractions, awesome Christmas themed activities and more seasonal family fun around the park than ever.
Father Christmas and his elves will be visiting with an extra big sack of LEGO gifts for little guests on Saturdays and Sundays from 21st November and every day from 12th December until 23rd December.
LEGOLAND Windsor’s hugely popular ‘Brick or Treat’ event for Halloween runs between Saturday 17 October - Monday 2 November 2015 when Frankie the Friendly Monster and his not so evil side kick Lord Vampyre return for lots of great LEGO themed fun and games.
Plus, on weekends throughout Brick or Treat guests can enjoy the spectacular LEGO Ninjago Fireworks on 17/18, 24/25 and 30/31 October 2015.
LEGOLAND Windsor has begun a public consultation on future development plans for the theme park and resort hotel. If the plans are successful, between now and 2017 there will be a new Haunted House attraction and a new extension to the LEGOLAND Resort Hotel.
The park are also considering an extension to DUPLO Valley and redevelopment of the Imagination Centre and Land of the Vikings areas. Following the acquisition of new land they are looking into a sustainable ecolodge style development.
LEGO Friends fans are in for a treat at LEGOLAND Windsor this May half term as a totally new area brings to life the vibrancy and fun of Heartlake City with exciting new attractions, an action packed live show and new equestrian themed Disk'O ride, Mia’s Riding Adventure.
The all-new Heartlake City themed area opens on 23 May when guests can step into the colourful world of the LEGO Friends. The unmistakeable exterior of the Heartlake Shopping Mall gives a stunning harbour-side backdrop for the exciting new live show Friends to the Rescue! featuring Mia, Andrea, Stephanie, Emma and Olivia. Fans can join the girls on an action packed adventure full of surprises and sing and dance along to their favourite LEGO Friends songs.
Then guests can head over to the Heartlake City Express for a gentle train journey through the LEGO countryside, before taking a more energetic equestrian turn on Disk'O ride Mia’s Riding Adventure. This horseback adventure spins riders through the air, travelling backwards and forwards on a circular spinning ‘race track’. Plus at Olivia’s House little LEGO builders can help build a home for one of Olivia’s pets and Emma’s Ice Cream Parlour will be dishing up some delicious desserts.
Heartlake City is also a perfect place to stop for lunch, with Heartlake Pizza & Pasta and the Heartlake Park Cafe too.
