David Walliams has given his seal of approval to Gangsta Granny: The Ride, the new attraction at Alton Towers based on his best-selling novel.

Alton Towers has revealed it is taking guests back to the 80s with three retro pop-up rides for the 2021 season.

Alton Towers has announced that new attraction Gangsta Granny: The Ride will open on 17th May 2021, subject to government guidelines.

Alton Towers will be open for local guests to enjoy a festive day out with a selection of rides and attractions for families, including CBeebies Land!

Alton Towers will be reopening its historic gardens to visitors from 13th November, in line with Government guidance on gardens and outdoor paid-for attractions.
