News from UK Theme Parks

ThemeParks-UK is celebrating 20 years as your guide to UK theme parks in 2020, and to mark the occasion we are launching the inaugural UK Theme Park Awards.

ThemeParks-UK has been the home of UK theme parks since 2000, so in 2020 we are proud to be celebrating 20 years - the longest-running website dedicated to theme parks in the UK.

When the website first launched in 2000 it was known as TP:UK and included guides to Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures. In 2004 a guide to Drayton Manor was added, LEGOLAND Windsor joined the website in 2006, and in 2018 we launched another new section dedicated to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The website continues to grow, with all the latest news and exclusive features. Our directory of Other Parks has now reached 63, and we include reviews and events for all of these too.

In 2010 our partner website ThemeParks-US came online, providing a guide to theme parks in the United States, including Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Six Flags and more.

Launched in 2018, ThemeParks-EU is an independent guide to European theme parks. This new website is the first English language guide dedicated to all the theme parks in Europe.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is back in 2019 with an array of rides, attractions and shows in London including a Giant Observation Wheel and Paddington on Ice.

Dr. Fright’s Halloween Nights returns for 2019 with a very special 10th year event, so we were excited to be experiencing it for the first time.

We're giving away wristbands for 2 people to experience Fear Island at Fantasy Island in 2019.
