Happy Halloween 2018 - review & photos

Paultons Park has completely revamped their Halloween offering for 2018, introducing a new family-friendly walkthrough attraction and a new live show, as well as fun character meet and greets, a fancy dress competition and decorating the theme park with over 4000 pumpkins!

We were invited to spend a day at the park, taking in both of the new additions and enjoying all the rides and attractions.

Happy Halloween is aimed specifically at families, so there's nothing scary or gruesome that might upset younger children. The event is all about having some spooky Halloween fun and is suitable for children of all ages.

There are wonderful Halloween displays all around the theme park, creating a really lovely atmosphere and with plenty of great photo opportunities.

  • The Big BOO Barn (New for 2018) - this charming family walkthough attraction features a series of scenes with talking and moving characters including the delightful Cornelius Cob and Professor Pumpkin. The barn has been very well done - so perfect for the event.

  • The Legend of Paultons Manor (New for 2018) - a live show following the intrepid Spirit Squad as they try to help Pickles the Pumpkin solve the mystery of the fabled Paultons Manor. It's a very entertaining production and has some good theatrical effects.

  • Little Monsters Ball - another live show, which acts as the finale to the day. It's packed with song and dance routines which children are encouraged to join in with.

Also taking place on the main Show Stage are Spooky Story Time and Freaky Fancy Dress.

Happy Halloween continues at Paultons Park until 5th November (shows until 31st October only) and all activities are included in park entry tickets.
