Tree Top Quest returns to Alton Towers for Summer 2019

From the 13th July until 1st September 2019, visitors to the Alton Towers Resort can step into the treetops as the Tree Top Quest high-ropes course returns for the summer school holidays.

The attraction, which originally opened in 2015, is set in the woodland next to the Stargazing Pods and offers two courses of different levels of difficulty.

On the higher 'Challenger' course, set 8 metres from the ground, guests must tackle 19 tree-top obstacles including swing tyres, stepping stones and rope bridges before hurtling back to earth on a thrilling 85m zip wire. Tickets cost £24 for this 60-minute course.

For those wishing to stay closer to the ground, the lower 'Explorer' course offers 12 obstacles set between 3.5 to 5m above the ground. Participants can tackle a Burma bridge, traverse the climbing wall and conquer the giant spider’s web. Tickets cost £18 for this 45-minute course.

There’s a great special introductory price for visitors this weekend (13th & 14th July) of just £15 for the 'Challenger' course, and £10 for the 'Explorer' course.

Francis Jackson, Operations Director for Alton Towers Resort, said:

“Tree Top Quest is a fantastic attraction which offers a great, outdoor experience for visitors of all abilities. As it’s next to our brand new Stargazing Pods, we hope visiting families can make the most of the great British outdoors when they stay at Alton Towers Resort this Summer.”
