Halloween at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in 2018

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is providing the ultimate thrill this Halloween with a frighteningly good drive-in cinema alongside Vampire Pleasure Beach and a programme of fang-tastic events and activities.

Screening three horror classics, guests are invited to enjoy the thrills, spills and screams at the popular theme park, all from the comfort of their own car. Opening with spooky thriller, Nightmare on Elm Street, visitors simply tune into the radio frequency given on arrival and prepare for a scare.

Halloween Drive-In Cinema

With viewings taking place from the 29th - 31st October, there are three screenings to be enjoyed, each starting at 8.30pm. The car park will be open from 7.30pm.

The screenings are as follows:

  • 29th October 2018 - Nightmare on Elm Street
  • 30th October 2018 - The Conjuring 2
  • 31st October 2018 - Halloween H:20

Classic cinema snacks including popcorn and hot dogs will be available, served by the park's very own team of ghosts and ghouls. Priced at £16 per car, guests are advised to arrive early to secure a good spot. Due to the nature of the films shown at the drive-in cinema, this event is adults only (18+).

The drive-in cinema is just one of a series of spooky events at Blackpool Pleasure Beach this Halloween with a whole host of activities to ensure that guests get the ultimate scare.

Vampire Pleasure Beach will make a return this year on Saturday 27th October from 4pm, as Blackpool Pleasure Beach is transformed into a spine-tingling sight, with zombies, vampires and goblins around every corner. Dress to thrill in your spookiest costumes, as a competition will be held for the best dressed. The Spooky Maze will also provide a fright with ghosts and ghouls around every corner, and park visitors can ride into the twilight with a special late night experience. A magnificent firework display will finish the evening at 10pm.

Designed for the little ones, from the 20th – 31st October, Creepy Hollow comes alive; enjoy an interactive experience with some gruesome animals, such as giant snails, cockroaches and snakes. Pumpkin carving and face painting will also be available from the 26th-28th October so that they can enjoy a monstrous makeover.

Watch out for Lougarock the Werewolf and the terrifying curse of Scepticemus! Keep an eye out for these creepy visitors as you never know where they might turn up.
