This February half term, Drayton Manor Resort is setting the stage for an unforgettable family day out with the Big Blue Birthday Bash, celebrating Thomas the Tank Engine’s 80th birthday!

Running from 15th to 24th February 2025, this exciting event promises fun, treats, and plenty of opportunities to create lasting memories.

Visitors to Drayton Manor will be immersed in a world of live entertainment, a sweet candy trail, and even cupcake decorating. Families can join in the festivities by embarking on the Thomas Land Birthday Trail. Guests can pre-order a Thomas Land Birthday Bucket online for just £3, which grants access to a delightful trail where participants collect treats at each stop, with a sweet finale of decorating their very own birthday cupcake. If you forget to book in advance, don’t worry! You can still purchase the Birthday Bucket on the day for £5 at the Thomas Land Shop. And parents, feel free to relax as you are not required to purchase a bucket.

But that’s not all! Thomas the Tank Engine’s 80th birthday celebrations are only part of the excitement. Guests who visit Drayton Manor between 15th and 24th February will be entered into an incredible competition for a chance to win a dream family holiday for four. With each theme park ticket purchased, guests get one entry into the draw, and Annual Pass Holders get double the chances to win—so it’s a great time to upgrade your ticket if you haven’t already.

While the event is set within the enchanting Thomas Land and Zoo, please note that thrill rides will not be operational during this time.
