Fab Feb Family Fun at Lightwater Valley

Aimed at the under 8s and running from Thursday 21st to Tuesday 26th, Fab Feb Family Fun features a host of fantastic indoor and outdoor events and activities on offer throughout the holidays.
With more than a dozen different attractions to explore there’s really something for everyone including lots of child-friendly rides. There will also be special UV puppet show performances in the brand new show barn.
Families will be able to visit the Riggmoor Mobile Farm with lots of cute and cuddly animals for you to pet and feed, including rabbits, lambs, donkeys, calves, alpacas and pygmy goats.

Explorers Week at West Midland Safari Park

Children's Book Festival at Dreamland Margate
16th February 2019
Escape the winter chill and warm-up your imagination as Dreamland hosts its first ever Children’s Book Festival this February half term.
Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s beloved character will be making appearances at Dreamland throughout the day, and there will also be screenings of the numerous animated film adaptations by Magic Light Pictures, including Room On The Broom, Stick Man, The Highway Rat, The Gruffalo and their highly-anticipated latest release Zog.
Primary school-aged children will be able to browse a selection of the best new children’s literature, and take part in creative workshops with leading illustrators. Illustrator and author Emily Rand will host a creative workshop based on her new book The Lost Property Office, where youngsters can learn how to make their own concertina Lost Book.
There will be stories for little kids from author Julia Jarman, who penned Big Red Bath and Class Two At The Zoo, and visitors can also learn how Julia was inspired to write exciting stories for children aged 7-12.
Dreamland’s indoor spaces including The Roller Room and diner, indoor arcade, and Octopus’s Garden soft play centre will also be open for families to enjoy.
