The park gates open at 8pm for exclusive ride time on the best adrenaline fuelled rides, with Thorpe Park’s most exhilarating rollercoasters; The Swarm, SAW - The Ride, Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno open until 11pm. Experiencing some of the UK's most intense rides in the dark and after a few drinks is unbelievably fun and a hilarious start to an amazing night.

Then for some massive beats from the Ministry of Sound in The Dome which undergoes a makeover to become the park's very own club. We danced the night away with DJs Rickie and Melvin from KISS FM, playing the biggest club tunes until 3am. There were nonstop floor fillers and big dance anthems, along with an impressive display of lights, lasers and smoke all night.

The party doesn’t end there, if you stay at the onsite Thorpe Shark Hotel, as you’re only a few steps away. Each bite-sized room has an en-suite wet room with rain shower, double bed and bunk beds, air conditioning, flat-screen TV and free WiFi. We had a sunset over the lake from the walkway outside our room, got a perfect night's sleep, and a hot breakfast in the morning.

Ministry of Sound Club & Ride Nights will continue throughout 2014 on 5th July (Marbella Sessions), 27th September (Ibiza End of Season Party) and 8th November (Back to the Old Skool).
