New additions are coming to Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, LEGOLAND Windsor, Paultons Park and Flamingo Land.

Tornado Springs at Paultons Park
The new themed land Tornado Springs will be opening at Paultons Park on 12th April 2021.
The four-acre land of attractions at Paultons Park - home of Peppa Pig World - was originally set to launch last year.
Tornado Springs - an Americana-styled land based around a fictional 1950s midwestern town - will become Paultons Park’s fifth themed land, offering over seven new rides and attractions:
- Storm Chaser - the UK’s first free-spinning roller coaster from MACK Rides.
- Cyclonator - a ‘Discovery 30’ rotating pendulum ride from Zamperla.
- Al's Auto Academy - a driving school attraction from Garmendale.
- Windmill Towers - a pair of family drop rides from Zierer.
- Trekking Tractors - an existing ride with new theming.
- Buffalo Falls - an existing water ride with new theming, already open.
- Rio Grande Train Ride - an existing train ride with new theming.
- Junkyard Junction - a playground for older children.
- Parking Lot Tots - a playground for younger children.
The new area will also include the Route 83 Diner and Al's Shop & Service.
LEGO MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures at LEGOLAND Windsor
Opening at LEGOLAND Windsor in spring 2021, LEGO MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures will feature thrilling new attractions and experiences.
Created 'for kids by kids', LEGO MYTHICA marks the resort’s single biggest investment since the gates opened 25 years ago and will see children’s imaginations and creativity run wild as mythical LEGO creatures come to life in front of their very eyes.
This newly themed area will include the UK's first flying theatre, two family drop towers, a new children's play area and a re-theme of the S.Q.U.I.D Surfer attraction.
LEGO MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures is currently under construction at the park and is set to open in spring 2021. The new land will be located between Heartlake City and the park's two LEGO-themed hotels.
The World of David Walliams at Alton Towers
New for 2021 at Alton Towers; a brand-new area inspired by The World of David Walliams.
In the new themed area join Granny and Ben on a 360° special effects laden wild ride full of twists, twirls and explosive moments in Gangsta Granny: The Ride!
Have a grand spin around and around on the Royal Carousel and then bounce up and down on Raj’s Bouncy Bottom Burp! Plus, just how you have imagined from the books, browse some of Raj’s amazing, not to be missed and never to be repeated deals at Raj’s Shop!
Gangsta Granny: The Ride
Published by HarperCollins Children’s Books, Gangsta Granny tells the fun story of Ben who discovers that his Granny is secretly an international jewel thief.
The thrilling new 4D ride experience will see guests join the main characters as they attempt the greatest heist in the history of the world: to steal the Crown Jewels.
On-board a Royal Carriage, guests will set off on a Crown Jewels tour only to be caught up in Ben and Granny’s audacious adventure. The ride will whizz, twist and spin passengers 360° through a series of scenes where they will see, feel, hear and even smell an electrifying and unique re-telling of the Gangsta Granny story.
Using state-of-the-art special effects, 3D projection-mapping and animation inspired by the artwork of Tony Ross, guests will descend with Ben and Granny into the sewers, be chased through the streets of London and come face to face with the Queen: but will the madcap scheme succeed?
Black Mirror Labyrinth at Thorpe Park
Opening in spring 2021, enter the Black Mirror Labyrinth at Thorpe Park, as Charlie Brooker's hit TV series is brought to life.
Described as the world’s first live Black Mirror experience, the new walkthrough attraction will be a maze combined with cutting-edge visual technology.
The new interactive experience asks 'will you keep your grip on reality or will you lose yourself in the digital mainframe?'
No additional charge will be made for the new attraction, which will be included in the normal admission price.
Get lost as you enter a hypnotic maze using cutting-edge visual technology and sensory-defying environments. Will you keep your grip on reality or will you lose yourself in the mainframe as this unpredictable digitised dimension reveals an uneasy truth that manipulates and displaces your very existence.
Croc Drop at Chessington World of Adventures
Experience a brand new 25-metre drop tower ride in the Forbidden Kingdom at Chessington World of Adventures in 2021.
Based on Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God, riders will freefall into the 12-metre high jaws of a crocodile.
The new ride has been manufactured by SBF Visa Group and can accommodate 16 people at a time. It will be similar to MAGMA at Paultons Park.
10-Inversion Coaster at Flamingo Land
Flamingo Land in Yorkshire has confirmed that their new 10-Inversion Coaster will open in 2021.
The 34 m tall ride will feature 1 vertical loop, 1 cobra roll, 2 corkscrews and 5 heartline rolls.
It is to be located next to the existing Velocity launched roller coaster, on the site previously occupied by the Corkscrew roller coaster.
The 10-Inversion Roller Coaster by Intamin features a track length of 875 m, maximum speed of 85 km/h, and can accommodate 28 riders per train.
It is the second generation of the original model (which operates at Thorpe Park as Colossus) and elsewhere in Europe this new version already exists at Cinecittà World as Altair.
The Blue Barnacle at Chessington World of Adventures
Chessington World of Adventures is set to open their new swinging ship The Blue Barnacle in 2021.
The Blue Barnacle is a replacement for the previous Black Buccaneer pirate ship that reached the end of its life, and the new ride has been supplied by Metallbau Emmeln.
