Nominations open for UK Theme Park Awards 2024

We are pleased to confirm that the UK Theme Park Awards will return in 2024, with the British public able to nominate in all 22 categories.

Once again, the public will be able to vote for their favourite theme parks in national awards recognising the best rides and attractions, shows and events. The awards are organised by ThemeParks-UK.com, an independent consumer guide to UK theme parks. The awards are presented in association with AttractionTickets.com

There are 22 categories this year, including UK Theme Park of the Year, Best Customer Service and Best Value. The new categories include Best Ride Storytelling, Best Accessibility Initiative and Best Sustainability Initiative.

In advance of the public vote taking place later this year, a shortlist will be compiled using the public nominations and with the help of an expert judging panel.

Major contenders for the awards include Alton Towers and Drayton Manor in Staffordshire, Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Lancashire, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park in Surrey, LEGOLAND Windsor in Berkshire and Paultons Park in Hampshire.

Other theme parks hoping to receive multiple nominations include Adventure Island in Essex, Crealy in Devon, Fantasy Island in Lincolnshire, Flamingo Land in Yorkshire, Oakwood Theme Park in Pembrokeshire, Pleasurewood Hills in Suffolk, and the various Gulliver's Theme Parks.

For theme park fans, there will also be an award for Content Creator of the Year, which includes bloggers, vloggers and podcasters, as well as those creating content on other platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Last year, Chessington World of Adventures was crowned Theme Park of the Year, with the World of Jumanji awarded Best New Attraction.

  • Content Creator of the Year
