We were invited to the 2024 press night where a host of celebrity guests and other VIPs hit the 'black carpet' and braved the terrifying haunts.

The scale of the event is once again unrivalled, with the attractions spread across a huge site. The two largest bars are the Saloon Bar and The Crooked Hag. There's also a selection of thrill rides including X-LR8, Sling Shot and the Waltzer. Other optional extras are Axe Throwing and Shock Chairs.

New for 2004 are Purgatory, The Carving and CarnEvil Cabaret, alongside the nine returning haunts and countless roaming scare actors.

Purgatory (NEW)

Prepare for Judgement. 1892, in the dead of the night and without warning the Havistock family abandoned their country house leaving all they owned. They were never seen again. Rumours quickly spread around the local village that the house was haunted and an evil spirit still remained within the walls of Havistock Manor. Do you dare follow the light?

With nothing but an old lantern to guide you through the pitch black rooms and corridors, and possessed nuns at every turn, this new attraction is a great addition to the event. The lanterns change colour, turn on and off, and strobe throughout the experience - the effect is clever and effective.

The Carving (NEW)

When the clock strikes 9, the true harvest begins. The seemingly perfect Appleton family invites you to their annual Halloween dinner. On the surface, the Appletons are the quintessential all-American family, but as the clock strikes 9, their charming facade shatters. The once warm and inviting dinner party morphs into a nightmarish ritual where their true nature emerges. In this gruesome haunt, you’ll navigate through the Appleton farm estate, where every corner hides dark secrets and sinister intentions. Can you survive the night and escape the clutches of the Appleton’s gruesome tradition, or will you become part of their collection of faces?

This epic mash up of themes from The Purge and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a huge sprawling scare maze packed with terrifying scenes and jump scares. This feels like a classic Tulleys attraction with all the hallmarks that you would expect from the very masters of fear.

CarnEvil Cabaret (NEW)

Where nightmares take centre stage, and the grotesque meets the glamorous. This spine-chilling show fuses dark burlesque, eerie illusions, and jaw-dropping stunts into a sinister spectacle like no other. Every act lures you deeper into the macabre, where thrills and chills are guaranteed.

• Wastelands Penitentiary - the prisoners are running wilder than ever.
• The Chop Shop - a relentless gauntlet of chainsaw wielding maniacs.

• Haunted Hayride: Route 666 - a signature Tulleys attraction.
• The Village: Coven of 13 - the vengeful witches are back.
• Hell-ements - this effective hooded maze returns.
• The Creepy Cottage - a classic haunted house that first opened in 1998.
