The Looping Group, which owns Pleasurewood Hills, has demonstrated its long-term commitment to the park by investing over £1 million in substantial upgrades for the 2025 season. This year’s focal point is the redevelopment of Wipeout, the UK’s last remaining Vekoma Boomerang and the region’s largest roller coaster. The flagship attraction will undergo a comprehensive overhaul, ensuring it remains one of the park’s main draws.
The upgrades to Wipeout will include a full repainting of the track, repair work, and the addition of a new station and updated queue line. A photobooth will also be installed, allowing visitors to capture their adrenaline-filled moments. Most notably, the ride’s iconic train will be replaced with new cars featuring waist supports instead of the traditional over-the-shoulder restraints. This improvement aims to enhance comfort while also intensifying the ride experience.

The investment doesn’t stop with Wipeout. The park has also carried out extensive work on its historic carousel, breathing new life into its horses and carriages. The Sea Lion Splash and Birds of Paradise displays, beloved by visitors, continue to impress crowds year after year.
In addition to these thrilling enhancements, Pleasurewood Hills has focused on creating an even more welcoming atmosphere for younger visitors and families. In recent years, popular attractions like Water Fun Factory, Egg-Spress, Safari and Giddy Up have all undergone significant retheming and engineering work.
