Tree Top Drop now open at Gulliver's Kingdom in Matlock Bath

Gulliver’s Kingdom, a family theme park nestled in scenic Matlock Bath, has unveiled its most exhilarating attraction yet – the new Tree Top Drop!

Situated within the park's Safari Kingdom area, this brand-new ride is set to take guests on a giant adventure, combining breathtaking views with a thrilling 15m drop.

Manufactured by SBF Visa Group, the Drop’n’Twist Drop Tower offers a unique thrill as riders from 110cm and above are lifted high above the park, providing panoramic views of Gulliver's Kingdom and the stunning Derwent Valley. But don’t get too comfortable – the ride promises a twist of excitement as riders experience a rapid drop.

Tree Top Drop is the latest addition to the park’s growing line-up of attractions designed to cater to younger adventurers. It offers guests the perfect combination of a peaceful ascent, where they can take in the stunning views, before the signature plunge that makes the ride a true standout.

Hannah Marsden, resort manager at Gulliver’s Kingdom, said:

“We are really excited by the reaction we have had to our new Tree Top Drop ride. It’s definitely not one for the faint hearted but the views are absolutely fantastic from the top looking down on the whole valley below so not to be missed! We are always looking at ways to enhance our park and bring new experiences and memories for families to enjoy and this new ride does just that.”

The ride is now officially open to the public and it promises to be a major draw for both local guests and visitors from further afield. Whether you're a young thrill-seeker, or someone who simply wants to enjoy the beauty of the park from a unique vantage point, the Tree Top Drop offers a little something for everyone.

Gulliver’s Kingdom, located in the beautiful Peak District National Park, is aimed at children between the ages of two and 13 years old and has more than 30 exciting rides, attractions, shows and activities to enjoy.

For those looking to make the most of the weekend by turning their visit into an overnight stay, the park has a variety of accommodation options, including Pirate Cabins, Promenade Rooms, Princess or Wizard Suites and new The Willows, a modern accommodation offering developed in conjunction with The Wind in the Willows illustrator Chris Dunn.
