Tornado Springs will be based on an American Midwest desert town in the 1950s and it will occupy four acres.

Rides and attractions in Tornado Springs will include a Storm Chaser spinning roller coaster, Buffalo Falls (a re-theme of the existing Wave Runner water ride), two Windmill Towers drop rides, a Cyclonator Gyro Swing ride, Al's Auto Academy driving school and a re-theme of the current Trekking Tractors ride.

The new themed area will also include the Junkyard Junction and Parking Lot Tots play areas and Jesse's Route 83 Diner.

MK Themed Attractions has been selected to manufacture and install all the theming for the new Tornado Springs area, which has been designed by the Leisure Expert Group. The family roller coaster Storm Chaser will be supplied by MACK Rides.
