The UK's ultimate Scream Park returns for 2018 with nine attractions, two live music stages, street theatre, fire pits, food stalls and bars. Tulleys Shocktober Fest is without question the biggest and best Halloween festival in the UK. 

We were invited to the press night where a host of celebrity guests and other VIPs hit the red carpet and braved the terrifying haunts.

With the promise that this year nowhere is safe, we were delighted that Thorpe Park asked us along to the Fright Nights media event.

In a substantial revamp of the lineup for 2018, there are three new horror mazes and two new character encounters, plus other improvements.

Fright Nights also provides an opportunity to ride Thorpe Park's fantastic collection of roller coasters and thrill rides in the dark.

Xtreme Scream Park, a multi-award winning event at Twinlakes Park, returns this Halloween promising to deliver more spine-tingling and startling fun, bigger and better than ever before.

This year hot from winning 'Best Halloween Attraction' at the ScareCon Awards for last year’s newest monster of a maze, The Village, the Xtreme team have been incredibly busy preparing their terrifying line-up. We were invited to the opening night on 28th September and given the VIP treatment to experience the event.

Visit Chessington World of Adventures on selected dates between 13th - 31st October 2018 for a spooky Howl’o’ween trick or treat.

There’s hair-raising fun for all the family this Howl’o’ween at Chessington World of Adventures, with attractions including the award-winning Creepy Caves Unearthed plus Room on the Broom Spooky Story Time, and new for 2018 the Haunted Howl’o’ween Live Show.

Chessington also sees the return of Curse of the Lost Tomb and Trick or Treat Wood, as well as rides in the dark with last ride entry at 8pm. There’s also a series of spooky animal shows and a daily fancy dress competition.

North Lanarkshire Council has agreed to increase the land they lease to M&D's theme park at Strathclyde Country Park in Scotland. 

This paves the way for an investment in the region of £3 million for hotel upgrades and over £1 million in creating events areas, and improving rides and landscaping in the theme park.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is providing the ultimate thrill this Halloween with a frighteningly good drive-in cinema alongside Vampire Pleasure Beach and a programme of fang-tastic events and activities.

Screening three horror classics, guests are invited to enjoy the thrills, spills and screams at the popular theme park, all from the comfort of their own car. Opening with spooky thriller, Nightmare on Elm Street, visitors simply tune into the radio frequency given on arrival and prepare for a scare.

Brick or Treat is back at LEGOLAND Windsor this October, featuring a new Brick or Treat Trail and Spooky Hill Train for 2018.

Alton Towers will be celebrating Halloween in spine-tingling style with a brand new fourth live action scare maze in 2018.

Visit Alton Towers on the 6th-7th, 13th-14th and 19th October - 2nd November 2018 for hair-raising antics and spooktacular surprises!

The theme park is open 10am - 9pm every day throughout the event - giving you a whole 11 hours of scares. When night falls, it's an incredible opportunity to ride the most famous rides at Alton Towers in the dark, including Wicker Man.

Thorpe Park has hosted a grisly bloody banquet with zombies including Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe chowing down on terrifyingly realistic edible human body parts.
